Plasma Wine - Art connection
PLASMA è una COLLEZIONE DI VINI PREGIATI, in cui ogni bottiglia rappresenta un’emozione derivante da un’opera d’arte di Ester Crocetta, che diventa un vino attraverso il lavoro dell’enologo.
Il progetto non è solo una mostra, ma diventa una vera e propria degustazione di vini, con il calice davanti all’opera d’arte per cui quel vino è stato creato.
PLASMA is a COLLECTION OF FINE WINES, in which each bottle represents an emotion deriving from a work of art by Ester Crocetta, which becomes a wine through the work of the enologist.
The project is not just an exhibition, but becomes a real wine tasting, with the glass in front of the artwork for which that wine was created.

Il tour si svolge all’interno del Museo Italo-Americano, guidato dallo stesso enologo che, con i bicchieri in mano, condurrà il pubblico in un viaggio sensoriale davanti alle opere d’arte della collezione.
Così nasce il progetto PLASMA, non è più l’etichetta di una bottiglia a rappresentare un imprenditore, un territorio o un marchio, ma è un’opera d’arte che crea un’emozione personale, un sentimento, una voce del prodotto e poi proprio il vino che rispecchia questi messaggi.
ESTER CROCETTA, artista abruzzese di arte visiva, ha invitato l’Enologo LORIANO DI SABATINO a creare una selezione speciale di vini, abbinata alle sue opere d’arte, affinché le sensazioni che lei sente di esprimere siano rese effettive e vere, anche attraverso il vino. L’interpretazione finale spetta a chi assaggia, lui o lei potranno confrontarsi con l’enologo e l’artista e intuirne le affinità. Poche parole, solo colori e sensazioni. Degustare guardando un dipinto, un’ispirazione, senza filtri di annata, denominazioni, blasoni. Solo libertà!
The tour takes place inside the Italo-American Museum, led by the same winemaker who, with glasses in hand, will lead the public on a sensory journey in front of the works of art in the collection.
This is how the PLASMA project came about. The label on the bottle no longer represents the entrepreneur, the territory or a brand, but it is a work of art that creates an individual emotion, a feeling, giving the product a voice and then it is the wine itself that mirrors these messages.
ESTER CROCETTA, an Abruzzese visual artist, has invited the wine expert, LORIANO DI SABATINO to create a special selection of wines that match her works of art, so that the sensations that she wishes to express are rendered effective and real, even via wine. The final interpretation is left up to the taster. He or she will be able to meet with the wine expert and the artist and judge for him or herself. A few words, just colours and sensations. Tasting whilst looking at a painting, you can admire the artist’s talent without filters of vintage, appellation, coats of arms. Just freedom!

Villa Italia propone l’evento WINE ART ABRUZZO e presenterà la collezione di vini artistici, insieme alle opere che li hanno ispirati; al Museo italo Americano di San Francisco il 16 novembre, un momento dedicato all’Abruzzo alla sua cultura e socialità, l’occasione di conoscere e parlare con gli autori.
La collezione Plasma nasce da una forte connessione tra le abilità e la competenza profonda di fare il vino e il talento ed espressività di creare opere d’arte contemporanea.
Ester Crocetta, artista abruzzese di arti visive, ha invitato l’Enologo Loriano Di Sabatino a creare una selezione speciale di vini, abbinata alle sue opere d’arte, affinché le sensazioni che lei sente di esprimere siano rese effettive e vere, anche attraverso il vino.

Wine Art Abruzzo
Villa Italia is holding an Art Wine Abruzzo event and will present a collection of artistic wines, together with the art works that inspired them; at the Italian Museum in San Francisco on November 16th 2018, a moment dedicated to Abruzzo and its culture and sociality. During the event you will have the opportunity to get to know and talk with the creators.
The Plasma collection came about because of the strong connection between the ability and the profound competence in wine making and the talent and the expressiveness which inspired the creation of the contemporary works of art.
Ester Crocetta, an Abruzzese artist of visual arts, invited the oenologist Loriano Di Sabatino, to create a special selection of wines, to match her art works, so her feelings could be trasmitted via wine.
This is how the Plasma project came about. Working back to front, the bottle’s label no longer represent the wine producer, the terroir, the brand, but a work of art that creates a unique sensation in the individual, a feeling that gives the product, a voice and finally it is the wine that mirrors these messages.
The final interpretation is for those who tasting, they are able to enter the world of the wine expert and the artist and understand their affinities. A few words, only colours and sensations. Tasting while looking at a painting, an inspiration, without regard for vintage, appelation, coats of arms. Only freedom.
